Life Group Questions | April 19, 2026

  1. This Sunday we witnessed the humility and servant-heart of Jesus. He demonstrates how his disciples are to live (John 13:14-15). Let’s focus on the blessing of service this week. Take a look at John 12:26. Why do you think Jesus states that following comes before serving?
  2. Name a time when someone humbly served you. What was it like to receive that blessing from another?
  3. We looked quickly at a handful of Psalms that speak of the blessings God provides to us. Those blessings are realized in Jesus. Read through the Psalms (below). How does Jesus fulfill the blessings in these Psalms?
  4. In what specific ways have you personally been blessed by Jesus?
  5. Being a disciple of Jesus provides a new understanding of God’s world. In Matthew 13:16 Jesus says his disciples are blessed because they have this new vision. What things are you able to see in the world because Jesus has opened your eyes?
  6. Based on this new vision through Jesus, what ways do you see to humbly serve in Jesus’ world?

This is a great time to consider how your group might engage in a service project sometime in the next couple of months.
