Life Group Questions | March 2, 2025

This week we will take a trip through some of the scriptures from the sermon and reflect on our response to each one.

  1. Psalm 145:4-7. In what ways did the generation of your parents pass on a knowledge of God’s work and goodness?
  2. Pick one of these questions to answer based on the Psalm: How has God been abundantly good to you? Or In what ways have you experienced God’s awesome works?
  3. Psalm 78:1-8. The emphasis here is on telling the next generation about the big things God did for Israel. According to the Psalmist, why does it matter that these things are passed on?
  4. What important wisdom about following Jesus do you think is crucial to pass on to the emerging generations?
  5. Ephesians 4:11-16. Ephesians presents some important roles that the church is equipped with, what is the significance of these roles for maturity as the church?
  6. How important is it to apprentice and invite younger generations into these roles?
  7. Psalm 145:7 says that the generation passing on the knowledge of God’s goodness will celebrate that goodness. How good are you at celebrating the goodness of God?
  8. What are some ideas you can share on how to celebrate God’s goodness even more?
