- Read Romans 1:16-23. In verse 20, Paul states that God’s invisible qualities have been clearly seen for all of time. Name some of these qualities.
- In the above quote, J. P. Moreland makes the same case of Romans 1:20, that people have to work hard to deny the existence of God. Why do some people deny the existence of God?
- How convincing do you find their reasons?
- Read Romans 5:1-11. This week the sermon brought up spiritual healing. In what ways has God spiritually healed you?
- How has that affected the way you view God’s world?
- In Christ, God transforms our heart to see those who are far from Christ with compassion and love. What is something from your testimony of knowing Christ that can be a bridge to those who deny the need for Christ (or even deny God’s existence)?
- Finally, take a look at 1 Peter 1:3-4. Our inheritance is indeed kept in heaven, but in Christ we begin enjoying the firstfruits of that inheritance now. What is way you can enjoy the inheritance God has for you today?
