Small Group Questions | April 30, 2023

This small group season runs from March 26 – May 21.

  1. What is your favorite Psalm and why? Read Psalm 1 together.
  2. The word “blessed” at the beginning carries with it a sense of instant happiness or satisfaction, there is an emotional weight to the word. What kind of things has God done in your life that have given you a sense of instant satisfaction in Him? How have those experiences had an effect on your walk with Jesus Christ?
  3. Psalm 1:6 tells us that there are two ways we can walk in life, towards God (righteous path) or away from God (wicked way). In what ways have you consciously chosen the righteous path? What keeps you from giving into the temptation to step onto the wicked way?
  4. On Sunday we celebrated the confirmation of two eighth graders. In that rite, we affirmed their continued walk with Jesus as part of his Church. What have been important markers or rites that you have experienced in life that have affirmed your faith?
  5. How can we as a church continue to foster an environment where we see more of these moments?
